The Millionaire Pedicure

Sarah Whiting of Sussex, UK considers herself very lucky. Nothing about her is particularly out of the ordinary. She grew up in not a particularly wealthy family and didn’t get a great education in her school years. She did however have a dream to be beauty therapist and worked hard to get her qualifications, even writing a personal letter to the director of the beauty college pleading to be let on the course. It paid off and she was accepted to the beauty course, which included being taught how to massage, give facial treatments and many more spa treatments.

When she completed her course, a job at a local luxury health spa was thankfully waiting for her. The spa was quite an upper class one and Sarah was worried she wouldn’t fit it. The staff were very friendly however and she soon found herself at home and enjoying her work.  When the girls had free time in their day the beauty manager would them give each other treatments, which helped staff moral and make the girls look presentable for their clients.

Last December Sarah, 24 and her friend Carly had some free time in their schedule and asked if they could give each other a pedicure. The treatment manager let them and so when they both went in to do their next treatments, their feet were looking better than ever.  Sarah next client was a man in his 30’s who had come with a friend on a spa day and had an hour’s massage booked in. Sarah liked him instantly as he was polite, good looking and very chatty. Not twenty minutes into the treatment, when he was having his back worked on he suddenly said “you really do have the most beautiful feet in the world”. Sarah was a little taken aback but flattered not the less and when he asked if he could take her out she happily agreed. After a few weeks the man, unnamed asked Sarah to marry him and again she accepted.

He only admitted later on that he was in fact the millionaire sun of a very successful business man and was soon to take on the business himself. Sarah was also told later that his heart was really captured by the prettiness of her feet. “It showed that you look after yourself” he said, “and that you cared about looking good for your clients”. He stated that although he fell in love with her personality, he wouldn’t have noticed her if not for the pedicure. Their wedding is due to take place later this summer and early costings are estimating around £1.5million
