Eye Makeup Tips to Get Big Eyes for Everyday

Eye makeup tips tend to be a little too much on the glamour. Yes, I know, it’s hard to imagine. Is it really possible to be too glamorous? However, sometimes when it comes to eye makeup, less is more. You would be unwise to wear that beautifully intricate smoky eye look to work. Or at least, it would be unwise.

Of course, you can still get your eyes noticed with less makeup. You can get “everyday” eyes with less makeup but the same effects. These looks can save you a lot of time. This tip let me cut more than 6 minutes off my eye makeup application time.

Generally people use eye makeup to accentuate their eyes. Making your eyes look larger is the best route to go when using every day makeup. You can use this eye makeup tip to get bigger-looking eyes that do not look made up.

You will need a golden toned eye shadow and a darker tone like brown or bronze. These should complement your skin tones. They should not be glittery but they can be reflective. Loreal’s “Wear Infinite” Holographic line is good for this look.

1. Apply the light eye shadow up to your brow. This evens out the skin and makes your eye area look smooth and bright.

2. Use the darker eye shadow to make a thick, smudged line in the crease of your eye. You are making a thick semi-circle over your eye. This darker shades results in a wider, brighter look when your eyes are open.

At this point, you’re done. Enjoy your bright-eyed new look. Options to dress this up include using white or pink for the background and violet for the semi circle. You might also apply a slightly darker shade on your lid. Make the look pop for evening with a bright eyeliner or a thin line of eye shadow along the edge of the lid. Use these eye makeup tips for bright, huge eyes.
