Now everyone has seen fashion shows on TV, or fashion model pictures in the popular magazines and thought about how very threadlike the models seem to be.  Personally I find it to be very sad.  I see beautiful clothes on these beautiful models and realize that even if I had enough money to acquire the clothes, they would never look the same on me.  I am not a large lady and wear a fairly average size, but I still find the fashion industry massively disheartening.

This made me curious for some time about plus size ladies and their available fashion.  I mean they must have the same types of thoughts, right?  Now women have their own fashion industry.  Personally I have viewed a few of the models and shows, and it is fair to say these are gorgeous females and beautiful clothing styles.  I mean there are pretty plus size ladies that make their living as models, defying all of the stereotypes that our society has set, that plus size females aren’t as sexy as thin females.

Now I do have to say though, that while do very much like this fashion industry that has grown up, I admit to being rather bewildered as to where the latest styles are being showcased.  What I mean is for other clothes the designers highlight them and then smaller companies start imitating the styles and soon a new trend starts and they are available for sale in all the stores.  I have yet to really see this take place in the plus size fashion world.  It still seems to be there are a lack of beautiful clothes for plus size females.  I would really like to see more stores built around the fashions out there for plus size women.  For instance harem pants, I believe it would help make women much more proud of themselves.
